Free Acting Workshop for NEHA Residents in Cavan

North & East Housing Association is delighted to invite NEHA residents in Cavan to take part in a free acting workshop led by filmmaker-in-residence Regina de Faoite. 

Taking place in Cavan Townhall, this informal and welcoming workshop is open to people of all ages and experience levels, including those who have never tried acting before.

Designed to be fun, creative and accessible, the session will introduce participants to some of the playful techniques used in performance for stage and screen. It is an opportunity to explore creativity, build confidence and experience the world of acting in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Regina de Faoite, NEHA's current Filmmaker-in-Residence, is leading the workshop. Regina is working on a new documentary film with NEHA residents in County Cavan, focusing on the lives and experiences of two tenants. The film will premiere at the Clones Film Festival, showcasing local stories and perspectives through film. Alongside her work with NEHA, Regina is an emerging filmmaker from County Cavan whose documentary and narrative projects have been recognised through a range of film festivals and awards. She is currently studying directing at The National Film School at IADT.

Whether you're curious about acting, interested in storytelling, or simply looking to try something new, everyone is welcome to come along and take part.
