Spring has finally arrived, the evenings are getting longer and lots of events are coming up in  North & East communities beginning with An Chearnóg in Dundalk.

For the younger residents, an Easter egg hunt is planned for Wednesday 12th April with children from Bothar Chroinn and Stamanaran attending also. Housing Officer Jackie Knight would be delighted with any offers of assistance for the event!

 The Annual Hanging basket project will also be happening soon in An Chearnóg, voluntary contributions will be collected by Pauline, Terri & Jennifer. North & East will also make a contribution.  Mick, Gerry & TUS worker David will have the hanging baskets up by the first week in May all going well. We will make sure to post some photos on the website.

An Chearnóg is in the early stages of setting up a neighbourhood watch scheme so anyone with previous experiences of the scheme please let us know
