A Year of Growth, Investment & Tenant Commitment
We’re proud to share the North & East Housing Association (NEHA) 2024 Annual Report, Guiding People Home. This year’s report reflects a period of steady progress, strategic growth, and, most importantly, an unwavering commitment to our tenants and the communities we serve.
At the heart of our mission is a simple but powerful goal: to provide secure, affordable homes and tenant-centred services. In 2024, this commitment drove every decision we made—from major investments to the development of our new strategic plan, shaped by your feedback.
A Snapshot of Our Progress in 2024
The numbers tell a compelling story of a growing, resilient organisation:
🏠 790 homes now under management, with 45 new households added in Dublin, Cavan, and Monaghan.
💶 €16.9 million invested in new homes, acquisitions, and energy efficiency upgrades.
🔧 €579,805 allocated to responsive repairs, keeping homes safe and comfortable.
Putting Tenant Voices First
Your experience is our most important measure of success.
In 2024, we partnered with an independent research company to conduct a comprehensive Tenant Satisfaction Survey. We’re grateful to the 334 tenants who shared their views—your insights are already shaping our priorities.
81% of tenants are satisfied with our communications and housing staff.
85% feel safe in their homes.

You also highlighted areas for improvement, including response times for repairs and management of anti-social behaviour. We’re listening, and addressing these points is a top priority for 2025.
A major milestone in tenant engagement was our inaugural Tenant Forum in November 2024—a fantastic opportunity for direct conversation and collaboration. Thank you to everyone who attended and shared their ideas.
