North & East Housing Association (NEHA) has published its Annual Report 2025, highlighting a year of growth, investment and housing delivery across the communities it serves.

The report marks the first year of delivery under NEHA's Strategic Plan 2025-2028, Developing a Sustainable Future, and outlines progress across housing provision, tenant services, sustainability, governance and organisational development.

During 2025, NEHA delivered 142 new homes across Dublin, Louth, Meath, Monaghan and Cavan, increasing the number of homes under management from 790 to 929. The Association invested €49.1 million in new homes and development activity, helping to provide secure, high-quality housing for more individuals and families.

One of the most significant achievements of the year was the completion of Bayview Gardens in Drogheda, a 58-home development that transformed a long-derelict brownfield site into a vibrant new community. Combining the restoration of historic buildings with modern, energy-efficient homes, the development has become a flagship example of regeneration-led housing delivery.

Alongside delivering new homes, NEHA continued to invest in its existing housing stock. Approximately €1.36 million was invested in repairs, planned maintenance and refurbishment works, helping to ensure homes remain safe, comfortable and sustainable for tenants.

The report also highlights NEHA's continued commitment to tenant engagement and community development. During the year, 21 tenant engagement and community events were held across NEHA communities, while tenant feedback continued to inform service improvements and future planning.

Sustainability remained central to NEHA's approach to housing delivery. Regeneration projects in locations such as Cootehill and Arva brought vacant and underused buildings back into productive use, while all homes delivered during the year were located within established towns and communities close to services, amenities and public transport.

In the report, Chairperson Vince Harney and Interim Chief Executive Officer John Martyn describe 2025 as a year of significant progress and a strong start to the delivery of NEHA's Strategic Plan 2025-2028.

As the Association continues to grow, the Annual Report reflects NEHA's ongoing commitment to creating homes, renewing communities and delivering lasting social impact across the regions it serves.
