Time to Vote in the 2018 Garden Competition

North & East was delighted to welcome the Minister for Housing & Urban Renewal  Damien English to visit a number of our upcoming Developments in Drogheda, Co. Louth.  The Minister was accompanied by the Cathaoirleach of Louth County Council Cllr. Liam Reilly, Joan Martin Louth County Council CEO and Joe McGuinness Director of Service, Louth County Council.

North & East this week allocated 10 new homes in Lough na Glack, Carickmacross, Co. Monaghan. The houses are the second phase of 38 homes in this previously unfinished estate to be provided by North & East in partnership Monaghan County Council  and NARPS (NAMA). We wish our new tenants every happiness in their new homes

Yes, it’s that time of year again.  Time to dust off your gardening tools and get back into the garden.  Our gardening competition can showcase our wonderful gardens and open spaces maintained to prize winning standards.

At its recent AGM, Chairperson John Ryan  welcomed new  Non Executive board members, Patricia Cleary and Maurice O’Neill. Patricia is a former CEO of Hail (Housing Association for Integrated Living) and Maurice is Director and part owner of specialist property advisory business TWM Property. North & East Housing Association has been involved in social housing provision for some 25 years and currently own/manage over 480 properties in the North Eastern region of the country.   We now have an opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our existing team within our Dublin office. The successful candidate will work across the whole organisation to ensure the efficient day to day operation of North & East office.

The Noel McArdle Education Bursary is a resource that the Board of North & East started in memory of one of the founding Board members, Noel McArdle . It is open to all tenants with a clear account for three months.

Inspired by the current spell of good weather, North & East tenants in Moneymore have been putting their green fingers to good use in brightening up their estate.  Working with our friends in the Connect Family Resource Centre young and old enjoyed an afternoon of potting and planting and creativity with a wide variety of plants. For once, the rain played its part and stayed away and water had to be brought from the houses for the newly bedded plants.
