Over the past number of months North and East Housing Association have been working with Tuath to apply for funding from the Housing Finance Agency (HFA) under the Social Investment Fund to develop a shared green space in Ramparts Green in Drogheda, Co. Louth. In September both organisations were delighted to be notified of the successful grant application of €30,0000. We look forward to jointly delivering the project as Lead partner in partnership with Tuath.

Upcoming Surveys Acuity

At its recent AGM North & East made three new board appointments, Raffaele Capolupo, Gary Conlon and Vince Harney.

At North and East Housing we are committed to improving our service as we value you our Tenants. Your feedback is vital if we are to understand what we are doing well and, if necessary, change what we are doing to become better. This year we have sourced an independent UK based company named Acuity, who have 25 years’ experience in carrying out Tenant Satisfaction Surveys in the Social Housing sector, to gather this feedback on our behalf.

You all should have received your Summer Newsletter by now. In this edition we outlined the Tenant Satisfaction Survey that will commencing in the coming weeks. The survey will be carried out by a UK based company called Acuity. We also provided information on North & East's first Reading Panel and would welcome new members. In our Tenant Zone we met Carrie who gave us a lovely receipt for her Gluten Free Scones.  We then took a look at the Tenant Engagement Activities that we carried out over the spring including estate clean ups and Easter Events. Our property services team gave us an update on the cyclical maintainence plan for 2024.

North & East’s Annual Report 2023 is now available. 2023 marked another great milestone in North & East Housing Association’s history as we celebrated our 30th anniversary.

Dutch Housing delegates on a learning and exchange programme with Irish counterparts were welcomed to Collier’s Place, Duleek on 13th June as guests of Meath Co. Council. The delegates, including CEOs, Senior Policy Advisors and Programme Managers of social housing organisations and care providers, are in Ireland to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and explore innovative solutions for supporting vulnerable citizens in our communities. 

Our offices will be closed from 5pm on Friday 31st May  until 9am on Tuesday 4th  June.
